Data protection under the measures taken against the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19)

The Hotel Manager and the staff of our Hotel ensure that you are provided with excellent accommodation services prioritizing the health of our visitors, of our staff, and public health.
Our cleanliness standards are aligned and strengthened in response to Covid-19 by implementing strict protocols and following all precautionary measures to ensure your safety.
It is important that you are aware, when you arrive at Alexandros Palace, of the following information regarding the necessary measures taken against COVID-19 in compliance with the special health protocols laid out in the Joint Ministerial Decision 6632/2021 (Government Gazette 1632/Β/21-4-2021), as they have been approved via the ‘Health First’ certificate.
Mr. Thomas Aslanidis has been appointed as a coordinator responsible for the supervision of the action plan and the implementation of the management plan of a possible, probable, or confirmed case.
Respecting Privacy in compliance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter the “GDPR”) we collect and process only the necessary personal data in the following records kept solely for purposes relating to the protection of public health:
- Accommodation record.
- COVID-19 logbook (not validated), which includes the recording of incidents related to the prevention or handling of a possible, probable, or confirmed case in the event that a COVID-19 case occurs during your stay.
- A record of staff members and all persons that stayed at the hotel including their name, nationality, date of arrival and departure, and their contact details (address, telephone, e-mail), to enable tracing of the close contacts of any COVID-19 case that may be identified in the future.
These data shall be retained by Alexandros Palace for as long as necessary and they shall then be safely erased without being disclosed to any third parties with the exception of the competent authorities and services of the Ministry of Health and of the Hellenic National Public Health Organization (EODY), the collaborating doctor or local health authorities, as well as the Regional Tourism Services of the Ministry of Tourism in the event of an inspection.
You can exercise all your rights that are provided for in the GDPR and more specifically the right to be informed and the right of access, the right to rectification, to erasure, to restriction of processing, to data portability, and the right to object by submitting the relevant request to:
